The ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) initiated on August 8, 1965
ASEAN covers a land area of 4.46 million km², which is 3% of the total land area of Earth. ASEAN Combined population of approximately 600 million people, which is 8.8% of the world's population. ASEAN Combined GDP in 2010 US$1.8 trillion. ASEAN combined GDP rank as the ninth largest economy in the world, behind the United State, China, Japan, Germany, France, Brazil The United Kindom, and Italy (Wikipedia)
